I bout a Toshiba A100 which has a true brite LCD monitor. It seems to have a plastic covering so it reflects everything lol. But my question is how do I clean it? My old laptop had a soft screen and this one has a hard screen.

One part 90% rubbing alcohol and one part water, which is what glasses cleaner and lcd cleaners are anyway. Make sure you use a soft cloth like a t-shirt or sock, do not use a paper towel!

You must not be a bachelor...

Soft cotton t-shirts are great for cleaning all kinds of things! You are going to wash it anyway, perfect dust rag.

some plastics (especially LCD screens) may become opaque depending on how much corrosives (such as alcohol) is present on the liquid. Most of the special LCD cleaners don't have alcohol in their composition for this reason. I'm not saying that you'll ruin ur screen if u use it, but it might do something bad for it if you use it too much of it, too often.
