Compaq Ipaq Won't Boot

I thought you could not boot from that machine. Are you able now? Or wish to mount the harddisk as slave to another computer?

Well, before HP could say anything your bios indicates that your drive needs a replacement so you should go for that.

Whats the point ? its only a 2 gig hard drive...

just buy a cheap 40 gig one... lol

they cost like 30 bucks anyways.

and definately pickup a cd drive or something

and theres no way there would be a special cd drive
they are just ripping you off.

Its acctually a 20 Gig drive,and the cd drive is not your ordinary drive its a laptop cd-rom drive like in the Armada m700 laptop,anyways,
I got a differnt drive, It's from an old compaq i had and this one seems to work,I installed fedora yesterday , But windows won't install , The restore disk looks fine, not even one scracth on it. I Keep gettig a black screen and a littel Line flashing on the left top corner like this one _

Linux Installs but windows doesn't,why is that happening? what can this mean?
