if bios doesn't even come up then it is most likely the motherboard, video card or power supply.

Its a good idea they check everything is pluged in correctly before they start ripping bits out. Could just be a loose connection.

Or as you stated, one of the components is duff.

Which reminds me ... do you get any BIOS beeps or anything when you start the machine ?

Lets take this one step @ a time.

You turn on the computer what happens ? Do you see anything on the screen. Does your monitor turn on to green or is it orange ?

If it's orange then the pc might be churnin on, but video card can't send signal to the monitor.

Firstly make sure the molex power is connected to video card.

Secondly make sure all your connection are in. Like mobo conn, and the adapter to the video card.

Does your power supply fan spin ? Possibly thats failing.

Were not worried about your Windows right now, we just want to see if the PC will start and show the boot process/bios on screen,

give us more info if u can, Help us help u, gl,

First Check every connection for loose connection and try this.
Clear the cmos...Take out the cell(battery) from the mobo and start the system once. turn it off and put the cell into its place and restart.

no idea @lalaish

But for krox, i think your system file got corrupted, if that blue screen appears every time you start the windows.

Another Worst Problem can happen is that your hard disk got bad sector while formatting too many times. And so maybe some of your windows system file got installed on those bad sectors?!

if it is the first case, then you need to repair/reinstall windows and if it's the second case, you need to spot the bad sector and avoid installing windows on that sector.

3 things you have to take care..

1. Check all the wires either they are connected properly or not.
2. Increase you RAM
3. Repair with OS
