computer screen goes wack

for some reason, sometimes in the middle of nowhere my computer screen goes wack and it turns into a static screen with color and you cannot get it back. the only way you can is by using the restart button on my computer....anyone know why it's doing this? i have a daewoo flat screen plasma screen or soemthing like that

It's probably your graphics card if you need to restart the computer to fix the problem.

You might open up your computer too, and make sure the video card has a tight fit in the socket. I was having problems with my computer about a month ago because the card wasn't all the way in the socket and there was dust particles inside. So I cleaned out the socket with a compressed air can blower and put the card back with a good fit. Haven't had any problems since.

A little problem, I have never opened a computer and have no clue which one is the video card, and i dont know how to open it, unless theres just some screws.
