computer trouble

can someone help me please. my hard drive has stopped working .. it shows up in the device manager and when i connect it to the usb port it recognizes it and says device is workin properly. it also doesnt show up in the disk management section of the devce manager!!! only c drive ..it has worked in this computer before and does still currently work fine in my laptop .im running windows 7 pro for my desktop and its a verbatim clon 320gb
