My aunt went overseas with her wireless laptop and then when she came back her laptop wouldn't connect to the network anymore. Im really stuck as when I refresh the wireless network list I cant even see a single network. I have also disabled the fire wall to no avail.

Really appreciate it if you could help me detect th network again. And if you don't mind can you tell me how to manage and set up a wireless network, as every time I turn the routers off I have to reset everything and I'm always completely lost. I got a friend to do it for me who is now overseas; It is a wireless router connected directly to the ADSL router.

Thanks

This might sound trivial but it's happened to me quite a few times:

Have you checked if wireless is switched on? (there should be an LED on the laptop indicating this) Some laptops like HP have a switch for WLAN/Bluetooth and others like Dell have a key combination such as Fn+F2.
