Hello everyone
This seems to be an old problem, but I have no solution for it.
I have 2 PCs connected through a switch. One connects to internet through a DSL USB modem. They do see each other (I even can share and use the printer), but I can not share the internet connection. The one which connects directly to the internet works fine, but the other one can not connect to the internet through this.

Please help me out of this

Thank in advance

So the one computer is connected through USB to the internet, and then the network card is connected to the switch. The second computer is connected to the switch also.

Couple of questions:

Does the DSL modem have a network cable jack in addition to the USB jack?

If so, plug the switch in to the modem and then plug both computers into the switch.

If the modem doesn't have a network cable jack, then I think you need to turn on internet connection sharing on the computer that is plugged into the modem. I have never fiddled with internet connection sharing so I am not sure what the setting should be. BUT... I would assume(hate assuming) that there will be some kind of wizard that would walk you through the setup.

Here are some links to setting up the Internet Connection Sharing

Hope this is somewhat helpful.
