ok.. update from the bent cpu pins
iv bent them back into its position and now the cpu fits into its slot, but the problem i have is as i'm building a computer i wont actually be able to see if there is any problems with the cpu for about 2 months when my pc will be complete
 and as i have bent the pins back you it still work with no problems and risk waiting 2 months 2 see if it works or just return the cpu as faulty and purchase another cpu in time for my computer to be up and running.

Personally I would return the CPU as faulty and get another one. The CPU may fit fine but there may be connection difficulties at some point.

Just get it replaced whilst its easy to.
