Creative HQ-2300D 5.1 Headphones

i was looking at the Creative HQ-2300D 5.1 Headphones and it states that they require a X-Fi sound card. Is this true? anyway i have a hercules digifire 7.1 sound card and was wondering that wound these headphones work with the sound card i currently have.

I dont think they require a X-Fi card and they should work on your digifire one. Im not 100% sure though. Best wait until someone else replies until you buy them.
