CRT monitor making chriping noise

my samsung 17 inch crt monitor makes chriping(flick) noise as i open picture(even when i fullscreen them),while playing videos and even when i play games.the noise is not continious....it makes noise when i open them or play them for first time.....then i close them leave it for a while and when i reopen them it makes noise again.and again it makes that noise when i start them...its not continious.please help

Are you sure the monitor is making the noise or are you just hearing it out of the speakers that are near the monitor? Shut the monitor and open the program if you aren't sure.

yup its definitly my monitor. Took it to my friends house today to try it on his computer. I guess its going to blow fuse soon.The problem is that the monitor is not that old. Its about 7 months old i think. Anyways thanks for the reply.

Take it back to the store. Tell them that they sold you garbage and you want a new monitor. If they don't replace it, post it in a few forums.
