Hi,

what's the deal with the new ddr2 ram; is it any better than the usual ddr?

I'm planning on buying a new comp, with an amd fx-55 CPU; will that be ddr2 compatible?

And, (last question..) how would one make the best combination of fsb and ram frequency?

Thanks a lot,
Torst.

DDR2 has higher clock frequenceys than DDR whilst consuming less power.

As yet no AMD CPUs support DDR2 so your just as well getting DDR for the time being.
