When I turn on the power on my desktop, nothing happens.

Other observations:
THe HD light does not light up or flicker.
THe screen is dark. (THe monitor works when I plugged it on another PC)

A reboot was performed after each of below actions: (each has same results - nothing happens)
- changed the round battery on the motherboard just in case.
- put a Windows CD on the drive.
- took memory from 1 bank

What could it be???? Bios has virus/toast? Graphics card toast?? HD??

do you get a sequence of beeps when you turn it on? If so that's important because it can identify hardware failures.

That means you have problems with your Videocard, or motherboard. The video might be unplugged, try to fix it.

Are you also able to enter BIOS?
