Did I just hose my monitor? Do you remember when you were a kid and you could play with the display of a TV with a magnet. Well some kid showed me a horseshoe magnet and I thought I would entertain him by doing the same sort of thing with my SONY computer monitor. But the distorted colors have stuck.

Suggestions anyone?

The screen hasn't become magnetic thought has it?

If you leave it it should eventually fix it's self, TV's usually do, Or you could have another go with the magnet and try to bend it back into shape.

exactly - and it's the only thing that will fix it.
Sony monitors have a degaus option in the Monitor's Menu (at least all the ones I've ever seen).
