If you cant even see a BIOS / or beginning processes of the pc boot up, then you can't disable the onboard video.

I don't see why you cant go into bios and disable onboard card ,

Does your monitor stay orange when you churn on pc ?

If this is the case then, first connect your monitor to the onboard video, churn on pc and go to BIOS ,, go to onboard devices or something like so, and disable it and save,

Now connect your monitor to the PCI graphics card your set.

Let us know on your progress.

Are you sure you can't get to a BIOS? did you try pressing the possible keys upon bootup anyways: like 'F10, F12, DEL, etc?'

If nothing still, try removing and replacing the CMOS battery on your mobo.

Okay, whats the story behind this. Did you just get a new video card and installed it. Then you tried to use the motherboard video so you can install the drivers? or did you plug the monitor into the new video card? Or is there no new card and it just all of a sudden happend?
