I know there is such hardware around, but i am quite keen on working on my art a bit more and i thought i might purchase some sort of pen that would allow me to draw graphics as precise as i can on software like Photoshop or even (shock horror) Paint!

Does anyone have any recomendations at all on good pieces of hardware that would be worth purchasing that might do what i hoped for?

The only one I've used is a WACOM tablet - there are pretty good reviews for them here:

Of course it will not be like a good ol' pencil, but good for vector drawing and the like. good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking the Wacom Tablet was the way to go although i see the price for that appears to be around $400. I don't imagine this is something i will purchase in the next few months due to me saving up for millions of things, i was just curious as to what hardware could do what i was looking for.

Thanks for the reply though panzhuli, i really appreciate this!

You could probably get a WACOM Graphire tablet for under 100 bucks. The intuos line is much more expensive.

Just looking at the link Pan gave ya , there is a graphire for $85.

Might be worth it to see if it does what ya want, then you can save for the larger more expensive ones.
