So I built a gaming PC for this guy about 2 years ago. He had a 500GB Seagate drive. He recently brought it in for an unrelated problem with the sound card and when I booted it up I got the S.M.A.R.T error saying the drive was about to fail. So, he wanted a 10,000 rpm drive. So I got him a 150GB VelociRaptor.

Now, he is only using 111GB of his 500GB drive. I want to image that drive and store it on the raptor. HOWEVER! Everything I tried doesn't work. Acronis won't let me restore the image I wasted 3 hours building to the smaller drive.

Anyone have any ideas? Free would be good.
