cd rw drive problem

hello , i dont know if this is the cd rw drive problem or the nero program.
when i try to burn a cd using nero burning rom, after 100% and its just waiting for that pop up message and the cd rom will eject,
but at this point. it froze and cause the cd to be a complete waste.
so any help ?
but is weid , once it failed and i try again it works.
and did it again it failed, and it work again.

please some 1 help me, i dont want to waste half of my cd's

Make sure the CD's you are using work with the drive. What i mean, sometumes you will get CDs that are 4x or 8x etc etc, there should be a number on your CD drive that matches what is on the CDs you have bought.

If both the numbers are e.g 4x then there shouldnt be a problem.

I am sorry if this isnt the problem.

its a different problem..
nothing to do with the speed.
i think is cuz of nero...

Did NERO come bundled with your CD-RW or did you download it from a P2P site ?

shouldnt be a problem , since the previous versions worked, so i think this version mabe bugged ?

what version are you using? the latest version is 6.6.0.8 (http://www.nero.com/us/nero-up.php), previous versions have been known to do stuff like what you mentioned, so upgrade if you're not at the latest version. if all else fails, try uninstalling then re-installing the software. if that fails, try another burning software program (adaptec) and see if you still encounter the error.

ya thats wat i was thinking,
so i upgraded to the lastest version ,6.608.
and the 1st cd i burn with the new version worked.
so iam gonna burn a other cd later today.
cuz nothing to be burn now.
i'll let u know wat happens when i burn the 2nd cd.
and thank you for telling me that the previous version have those error.
the ver i was using caused the error was 6.3 something..

Yup, its the program version that caused the problem, the latest version doesnt have that error.
