Anyone using one? Thoughts on performance especially with the droboshare? I'm thinking about buying a 2nd gen Drobo + Droboshare combo since I don't want to drop $750 on a Drobo FS.

Graphixboy,
I have had a second-generation Drobo Share Drobo and now I have switched to FS. It sets up and I only go faster (which is an advantage) I bought Drobo is, cost me € 535 postage includes. They are in Barcelona and given me support.

Thought I'd report back about this. The Drobo + DroboShare combo is really nice although slightly slow across the network. (I could probably get around this by attaching it to my machine directly via firewire 800). However its been really nice to have self healing NAS that all my machines (mac, win7, ubuntu) can see and use with minimal fuss.
