dual monitors: mandrake linux 9.1

ok, im trying to get dual monitors set up on my liunx box... currently i have 2 monitors and 2 desktops... what i want to have is 1 desktop spanning the 2 monitors. ive been fighting with it for a bit, and im not sure how to do it...

ok, i got the single desktop working with Xinerama...

however, i cant find anyplace to change the resolution on my second monitor... its stuck at 640x480... any suggestions?

nevermind, im fed up... its going to run XP Prof so i dont have to think so hard...

no, im not fed up with you guys... im fed up with linux... ive been fighting with it for over 3 days trying to get various things to work, and they all arnt working... i know ive made a deal with the devil by installing windows on it... but hey, now i dont have to think...

well if it is any conselation, it took me a month to configure linux for me. I guess you gotta love to do that sort of thing

i usually do love messing around with software and junk... i just wanted to ge the stupid thing working, and as i said, had been tryign to get it working for 2 days...
