How can I copy a copyrighted DVD onto my hard drive (not for redistributing). I want to keep all my movies on my computer so instead of getting it every time I want to watch it I can simply click it. Is there a free program that I can download that does this? Thanks.

While not free, you should be able to do it with Nero. Rip an image of it, then load it in to the image drive when you want to watch it.

Now I have copied the DVD to my hard drive but I can't play it, what is a program that can play these movies? I can play them straight from the dvd drive but not from the copied one.

.vob files are just MPEG2 files evidently. Try Media player.

I tried Windows media player and some cliprex dvd player and they both just show a 1 second flash of the movie and then say that there is an error with it

OK now I can copy them just fine now the only problem is that I want them to be one movie, because when I copy them there is usually about 4-10 different sections that I will have to go to the next one each time the one before it ends. How can I make them all together so it doesn't seem like they were even different scenes.

Sorry. This is starting to sound way too obvious.
