Not sure if even dual Xeon comes close.

You could probably get a damn near identical system to that alienware for a lot cheaper. A big chunk of the alienware price is the flashy case and the name, but they are good systems though. You might check Monarch computers if they are still in business. I know a year or two ago they were downsizing their business a bit, but they make some pretty high end systems similar to the aliens. And for that matter, you could spec out your own system and build it yourself, then you would get the satisfaction of making a totally 100% one-off custom computer.

I second that. It would most likely be cheaper to do so.
The Beer Monocle. Classy.

I take back the thing about monarch computers, according to my google search, the first hit was a digg page about them going bankrupt. Might be a good idea to stay away from them!

Seems like a G5 Quad is getting kind of dated. Thats about a 3 or 4 year old computer. I'm pretty sure that all of apple's desktops have dual or quad core Intel Xeons in them now. So similar to: http://www.dell.com/content/products/category.aspx/precndt?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&~ck=bt
If at first you don't succeed F1... If that doesn't work try Google!
