Seagate 120gig (about 2 months old), suddenly file system become "RAW"
i have google it for whole night also cannot help...

ok, it appear in 'device manager' - disk drives
also appear in 'my computer', but when i double click, it is empty...
tried right click it to format got no respond...
tried to check error in tools, also no respond...
it's not appear in 'disk management' (funny....)

i don't need to recover file, i just want a empty working hard drive back...

so i went to seagate website to download seatools...

http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/suppor ... /portable/

after installed, it can only read my internal hard disk...
so i check in 'my computer', my external hard drive icon still there, it mean cable ok, but even seatools cannot detect it...

please help.... what can i do to get a clean hard drive back....?
can i uninstall the driver and use 'update driver' to install it back? will it help?

laptop acer travelmate 2420, window xp pro sp2, hope it will help...

thank u very much.
