My secondary monitor (which has made web design a breeze this last year) seems to have finally croaked. I unplugged it, turned it back on, and got the no signal prompt and it goes into power save. I plug it in and it flickers a bit and just stays dark. I get my menu options still also.

What I don't get, my monitor is dead but I can still view menu options and error messages. So is it really dead or can something simple be replaced?

If another monitor works ok with the PC, then I would say it's dead.

You can save yourself some time if you tell the entire story, the next time you ask a question.
