Fixing an install problem

Need help. Have Dell Lattitude that will not load disc with the repair manual loaded on it. Tried to use add/delete also I could not find install program on the disc. Any suggestions as to how I can install the disc on hard drive. Can not open up any files on it. Just a thought, do I need an unzip program maybe??
