Flickering Monitor

Hi all,

I've got this DELL 207WFP and M1330.

The monitor keeps flickering and i am trying to stop this problem. They have changed my monitor and the problem hasn't been solved. I tested the monitor with another computer - worked fine. I tested the laptop with another monitor - worked fine.

What could be the problem? It seems like the M1330 and the 207wfp dont sing together well.

i thought the cable might be the problem and after changing that out as well the flickering got reduced but is back now.

I am using a VGA cable...

Anyone know what the problem might be? Resetting, Auto adjust etc all failed.

When you tested the monitor with another PC and when you tested the laptop with another monitor, did you test them in the same wall outlet or power strip? Move everything to a different circuit. If it's a small apartment and all the outlets are on the same breaker, test it in someone else's house or apartment.
