Here's a review from Tom's Hardware -
http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/20030127/index.html

Click through to the cooling section, they have a link posted to what the thing sounds like on boot up, that's *peach* loud, it does sound like a vacuum, ha ha ha.

Anyways, there's other reviews of it at these links -

From what I'm seeing there, the slim performance increase over the Radeon and noise isn't worth making me wanna buy one of those cards. I'll just pick up a Radeon 9700 Pro and with the money I'll save, I'll use that to get the next Radeon card that rolls out All of the months of waiting for the Geforce FX, only to be let down

Yeah, it looks like i'll just buy a Radeon 9700 Pro for now, then in another year, maybe Nvidia will have something new worth buying, ha ha ha. I'd like to be able to hold out for the new ATI card, but that's probably gonna be a few months away since it hasn't even really been introduced yet.

Geez, I just clicked over to hear that sound again, it's like a frickin airplane, the sound clip is located here on this page, about half-way down -

WOW, how could anyone stand having all of that racket OR a better question yet, how could Nvidia actually think that people will accept a video card that's so damn loud ?
