Are there any graphics drivers/cards equal to the GeForce 3?

Question:
What are the minimum system requirements?

Answer:
A GeForce 3 or equivalent Video Card
1 GHz machine
512MB of RAM
Dial-up connection.

I have most requirements, but I'm unsure about the Video Card.

what video card do you have?

from what i can gather, the card just needs to have the feature 'Hardware Transform & lighting' As i think that is what the gf3 debuted with. I am not 100%, but an equivalent card would be Radon 9200 and up and any card better than the Gf3

Right click on ur desktop
click properties
go to the settings tab
it should say what display you have (screen) and what card is running it
(blah blah blah monitor on blah blah blah Card)

At the moment I am using a ATI Radeon 9250.

For some reason, when I bought the card it ran on 64MB, but I also have 256 RAM, and now the card runs on 32MB. If I increase my RAM, will the video card operate correctly or must I buy a new one?

it should be fine and your card should allways be running at either 64bm or 128mb videp memery, depending on revision and vendor.

give us all of the specks of your video card that you can please. and if you know the specks of your computer those will help alot to.

The thing is, when I ran a game an error message popped up saying:

Your computer does not meet the minimum game specifications.

512MB RAM (detected 256MB)
Video Card 64MB (detected 32MB)

Well, something similar to that, at least.

I am trying to find out equivalent video cards to that of the GeForce 3. I can always increase my RAM, but help me out here.[/quote]

Equivalent to a GeForce 3 will not run the game smoothly/decently. These are the minimum requirements just to play. I would go for a GeForce 4 or above. The best value card out right now is a GeForce 6600GT.
