I have an 80 gig hard disk..I use the other 40 gig and the other is a backup..How can i remove the backup? I cant detect the backup disk and is invisible

y would you want to get rid of a back up ?

create a boot disk, and boot the computer from the boot disk....

when ur computer finishes loading.... u will be at a: (a drive) type in fdisk and hit enter. hit enter again and u will be at a place with four options...there u can delte and or create partiotions.... so delete the partition that is a back up.

well i would like to create a backup for me to use the other 40 gig..By the way if the computer does not have an a drive is there any other options?I access my a drive in the network
