nVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT is probably the best "bang for your buck" right now.

If you have an ASUS mobo, get an ASUS card, if you have an MSI mobo, get an MSI card.

I like eVGA, they have a new lifetime warantee that even applys to overclocking :)

I'm not happy with Asus at the moment. I've seen a big slip in quality and an all-time low with the customer support.

Companies have been re-inventing themselves as of late. Pine becoming XFX and taking a 180. The XFX cards are actually decent with an upward swing in the right direction.

DFI seems very solid, but I have had little experience with them, only hearing some very concerning horror stories of a long bated time past.

eVGA is under a facelift as well. From the: "Hey, I'm cheap and might actually work for a short while."
to the: "Hey, I'm still kinda cheap but I slap a guarantee on it even if you OC the living sh*t out of me, either out of stupidity or deliberately."

Whatever floats your boat at this point dogg.

I have the Asus A8N-SLi Premium motherboard. I can't say I have a problem however I have had some erratic behaviour. Epecially if it sits for a couple weeks powered off. Like it wil boot, fail to post and start beeping, the reset button wont work and I have to hard power-cycle it. After that it boots fine without a problem and will work for weeks on end and boot fine 30 - 40 times before it does it again.

I'm using an AN8 Ultra mobo (non - SLi), technically its a great board but it is also the most picky pain in the ass motherboard I have ever used. It has been an absolute pig to get up and running and the ide ports are a joke, but non it's ticking away happily I love it.
