Help!!!!!
I have bought rome total war installed game but cant run!
I have :

My problem is that when I try to start the game I get the initial screen up (e.g. start new game, options, uninstall game, etc)
but when I try to play the screen goes black for a few seconds then I am returned to desktop display, with rome minimilized to the bottom taskbar! I have latest direct x, latest drivers for graphics.
Anybody have any ideas?????????

oh dear!

Have you downloaded nvidia detonator?

Are you running Windows XP or 2000?

What motherbaord?

Do other games run ok?

What sound card is it? If its a nasty one try unplugging your sound card and taking out the driver?

Try re-installing after driver updates.

You PC is should run it fine and consider emailing technical support with all the info above (motherbaord, Direct X etc...)..

I have had that problem before and it was the monitor. how new is your monitor. what can the screen resolution go to. i just tried out a newer monitor and it works fine.
