i'm getting another hdd and was wondering if there is any software that will copy any files i save to one straight the other

i know of this software called ghost that makes an exact copy of ur hard disk.... but not compatitble with windows xp if ur using another motherboard. but im pretty sure if its the same mother board u can do it.

the program is called ghost and its fairly simple to use.... *norton ghost

This has to be one of the most inaccurate things I have read in a while.

Yes Ghost has the ability to copy one hard drive to the other. Ghost is indeed compatible with Windows XP SP2.

I have no idea what this person is talking about when referring to motherboards since we are talking about copying data from one hard drive to another in the same system. If kto is referring to copying the drive from one system to another system that doesn't have the same hardware then yes you will have issues but can usually be rectified by obtaining the proper drivers.

But for what deathblade is wanting RAID is the best bet and is very easy to implement.

yeah grinch2171 is right i want it so when i um lets say do some course work and save it into my docs, i want it to auto copy it to the other disk.
