HDD or MBoard???

hello...

i had a problem installing windows XP on my PC.

after i finished formating and copying needed files,

it cannot shows the windows XP loading, i have tried to reset it but the

result is, it keep restarting and never run the win XP loading.

what wrong to my pc, it is somethings to do with my motherboard or

my HDD, or else...

help me...

Exactly what happens when it restarts? Can you give any more information about your hardware? What type of XP disc are you using?

Is the XP CD in your CD-ROM Drive and is your BIOS set to boot to optical drive first?

Also, is your XP disk even bootable?

- after detecting HDD and CDROM, it does not show the windows XP logon picture, it restart by itself. i'm using windows XP Pro SP1.
