When im playing games on my pc, most of the time i get 5 mins into the game n the speakers start making a continuous drilling type noise and then cuts to a blue screen saying its dumping physical memory and to restart in safe mode. Whats going on and what can i do to stop this? Please help...Cheers.

The only time I ran across this was when my video card fan died and it became too hot. But also it might be a driver issue. Posting the error message would be randy. Or looking up the error message on Google.

If you could post your specs.. CPU, Motherboard, Sound Card, Video Card, Operating System.. also if you could tell us the Stop Error..

usually looks something like this

Stop: 0x0000000xx (blah blah blah) and farther down their might be something like IRQL not less or equal.. or a Device driver name.. like a .dll file..

or you could try this if your using Win2k or XP

http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... us;Q314084

and post the Event ID # and Source name
