If some one could help me either, slipt the drive so I don't screw my windows side up or, help get me through the partitioning part, so I don't screw my comp up. Thanks please help.

Partition Magic 8.0, is supposed to be a good program for partitioning . It's good at moving your operating system so you don't lose any data. Now, as far as loading linux. I think you have to install a boot program, which gives you the option of which operating system you want to boot up(windows or linux).

You might want to post in the Linux Forum. Those guys can point you in the right direction.......

Good Luck
