do you mean to re-install the XP Pro and delete everything else off the hard drive?

If so, then follow these steps.

1. Insert your XP Pro installation Disk into your cd drive.

2. Enter BIOS and set your first boot device to CD Drive, or whatever drive you put the disk into.

3. The Computer will Boot from the disk and ask you a series of questions. As soon as you have entered the partition you want to format and install the copy over, it will begin an installation.

4.Once it finishes, installation will have been completed. remove the disk and start your computer normally.

Yea...you gotta be more clear as to what you mean. You can't really format while you are in windows, and formatting will erase the OS.
