How do I use one cd drive for 2 seperate computers?

I can to use one cd drive and run it on 2 computers the computers will be about 12 " apart. And It doesnt need to be wireless I was thinking maybe a Printer cable Im not sure? please Help Thx!

You could connect the two with a crossover network cable, share the CDROM drive, then map it on the other computer.

SO you mean taking 2 network cables then put them together to make one that goes to the internet?

He means connect the two computers together using a network crossover cable then allow each computer access to the drive in question.

You don't need to have them connected to the internet to do this, just have to set up a small home network between the two computers. This can be done using the Windows Network wizard in Settings > Network & Dial-Up Connections.
