I just bought a 120 GB SATA hard drive and it works fine and everything but for some reason I can't install Windows XP on it. I restart my computer and go to windows setup and it shows my other IDE hard drive but the new one isn't in there. I have already formatted it and am using it right now, I just want to install windows on it because when I play some games and when I try to copy larger files it goes to a blue error screen for about 2 seconds and then restarts. When it is started up it says that the system has recovered from a serious error on one of those send error report things. Does someone know how to fix this?

Did a search on google, frankly I'm surprised that Windows XP doesn't have Sata drivers but I guess it's true.

Here's the link to a walkthrough of how to install XP on a Sata drive:

Good luck.
