hello, well im about to buy a new pc, tomorrow porbbaly, but i was wondering what the difference was between the 2 processors? which one was better and why? how much better is it? is it even a comparison? i want a pc to game with so the one im think about buying http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productD ... code=59835 ....to later be upgraded with more ram, least a gig and a better vid card......to which im also wondering, how can i tell if there is a slot for it? since some pc have intergrated graphic cards....does that mean that you cant put in a new one at a later time ?....the reason i ask between the 2 procesors is becuase they both have package deals that cost about the same, yet the intel cel d has a printer addde to it....they both come with a 17 in lcd monitor....i know that, that doesnt really matter but it helps lol, so yea any advice for me?

Well for at least a year you will not be able to upgrade anything less you void the warranty. It will only support 32 windows, FSB is 533 which is ok but not great, you may not be able to upgrade to an agp card as it is an all in one motherboard, the ram is upgradable to 2gb which is a plus, bout the best thing on that system would be the lightscribe dvd burner...lol..imo.

1 pentium is 32 bit ....amd 3200 is 64 bit.
2 pentium has 512 l2 cache, pending on version of 3200 its is up to 1mb
3 imo no there really isnt a comparison
4 You wont be able to upgrade anything till the warranty is up, ram is expandable to 2gb, Video is integrated and not changable, will not support the new games which usually require a 128 mb video card at minimum, You may be able to upgrade to an agp card or a pci card after the warranty has expired.

You Can only Get a PCI card for your system.

As i've posted for many other ppl....

nVidia Geforce FX5500

Cheapest i could find: http://newsite.pagecomputers.com/store/ ... Fid=648851

and if you still have a warranty, And dont care, go to a professinal to get it installed for you.

or call 1-800-905-GEEK
 Kinda of a joke but if there avaible in your town, they will come out and install the card for you.

....You could go to bestbuy and have them install it too.. 8)

okay i picked the amd because it is the best for gaming the celeron D for dual core is proficient at running multiple programs.

and dats my 2 cents

and integrated graphics doesent mean anything it just means that there is a vga plug in the motherboard and you will be able to use another graphcs card with ease

Oh and one more thing, since i also need a new vid card, i was looking into a PNY GeForce 6600 Gt... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp ... 9382222003 .....i was wondering, whats the difference between PNY and Nvidia or whatever, cuz i always see cards that seem similar, but just with diff names on em, and is the 6600GT better than the 6600? or is it the other way around becuase the 6600 cost alittle bit more than the Gt.....in any case what is the most important thing when picking a vid card, what are the Numbers that actually matter when they advertise one lol.......i was looking to spend around $150 US..... also i think that the mobo that will come with my pc will only be able to be upgradeable to 2gigs of ram, do you think that would be a problem any time soon? :p thanks in advance for all you help......... found these two http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/128 ... on.do#tabs http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/971 ... on.do#tabs what ya guys think? i think if i get the hp it would be a lil better since i wouldnt have to buy a new vid card right away like i would with the other one and maybe later one find a cheaper more powerful vid card than i can now o.O
