Hi

I do have a laptop "e-max 340s2" which is p3 proc.750

The problem is that my battery is dead and i use it only through the outlet power adapter.

When i try to power up without the battery inside, it will never power up. Now how can i power up without the batter inside. ?????

Thanks

Mohd

Some laptops won't allow you to power out without the battery..

Basically, the way some laptops work, when it's plugged into the AC adapter, it's actually continually charging the battery, and your laptop still draws its power from the battery. Without the battery, nothing is charging, and the laptop has nowhere from which to draw its power.

Some laptops completely bypass the battery once the AC adapter is hooked up, and the baterry is not being used at all. These will power up with the AC adapter alone, without a battery being present.

It sounds like the method your laptop uses is the first one.
