HP Laser Jet 4 - Upper Tray Problem

Only when I set the printer settings to use manual feed can I use the upper tray.

I set all properties to use the upper tray but it no longer works.

Not a novice user so something strange is going on.

Any assiatance would be appreciated .

Printer issue solved.

Cold reset fixed the problem.

Device was not supported by HP since it was built in 1993.
