Hi All
This kit has worked perfectly since I bought it, maybe two years. Just recently I have been having trouble with IE refusing to go on the web but email still works just IE stops wanting to go on. If I reboot the router, IE works again. This happens too often now and has become a pain in the...
Can anyone suggest any possible solutions.
Thank you

Check D-Link's site and see if there is a firmware upgrade available for that router

I updated the firmware but problem still exists, I am thinking there maybe a problem with IE as on the occasions when it wont go on the net, it wont go onto the IP address of the D-Link router either at that is attached via network cable.
AARRGHH!
That's better!
Any ideas?

Check the event log and see if a service or program is shutting down when the problem presents

well the event manager has recorded every time it happened and has assigned a 8032 code to it. When you go on to the help link from the event manager, this is what you get...

The Browser 8021 event is usually logged when this event is logged. Possible causes include:

Network outages,
Name resolution problems,
An overloaded master browser, or
A master browser that is unavailable because, for example, it is shut down or has lost network connectivity.

So I suppose this is telling me that it is my PC.

my old wrt54g was being a [female dog] after about a year of solid and demanding use. it required nightly reboots so i switched the firmware over to dd-wrt. i highly recommend it to anyone.

I was trying all avenues out of desperation, one lead me to download spybot
http://www.spybot.info/en/download/index.html
I ran it and it found a number of nasties in the registry. After backing up and removing said nasties, all appears to be back to normal.
Thank you to all those that took the time to post suggestions, I appreciate it.
