:?:
Hi all,
I have a new linksys wireless router and i am trying to use kazaa.
Before i installed the linksys everything worked ok but now it seems that
i am not downloading properly. Sometimes i even get a window that says press the enter key to continue? When i am able to get through my downloads are not happening. Should i setup some ports to open in my
linksys or what should i set in kazaa?

Thanks All!!

p.s. i know that there have been similar post but nothing seem to address mine.

Since this question seems to center around your router, I'm going to move it to hardware.

You need to forward the ports that Kazzaa uses through your router. I don't use Kazaa so I am not sure which ports it uses.

Just google for those ports and you should get lots of responses. I'm sure there's tons of people w/ a router using kazaa, someone else must have run into this.

You probably need to configure your outbound ports and inbound ports to allow kaaza to communicate with the servers. Im sure if you go to the linksys site and look up your model number, there will be step by step solutions on how to configure the router to allow communication with services such as kaaza. There may be some settings you need to check or change in kaaza as well.
