Yes,it is!
The results off a watercooling are tremendous (that´s why they´re used in extreme overclocking)
The noise levels are much lower....
But not all is good...you´ll need much more space....and money

hey cowkiller try also looking into non corrsive non conductive liquids suck as fliud xp you can spill it on your m/b w/o any damage

It all depends on the application, if you are going to be doing normal to upper end computing there is no major gains to be had for the expense.

But if you will be doing extreme computing, such as major overclocking or you are really sensitive to the fan noise then water cooling is better

Keep in mind that watercooling requires a certain amount of expertise or you could end up getting your brand new rig wet. If it's your first PC build, I would definitely recommend air cooling.
