Hi guys,

my laptop ran out of battery, and when I restarted it, all my partitions were gone. I've got very important stuff on them, does anyone know how I can fix the problem?
It could look like the partition tables are damaged; if that is the problem, how can I repair them?

Thanks for reading,
Torst.

first of all, what file system you are using? FAT 32 or NTFS?

If NTFS, I think you can quick format using NTFS and look for software to recover all your files. you might not recover all your files but you might recover some.

I have not tried this before but my friend did. :D Try at your own risk.
