lost photos

I was burning photos to my dvd drive when I lost power for a second after the reboot all the photos in my folder where gone. How can I get them back?

system restore i guess. restore the system to yesturday and they should come back. but anything you have created since yestuday will be lost.

that's something wierd easyrider, coz, photos just dont puff out of folders when you're burning them to disc. (of course we can assume that DVD you are burning cant be of used anymore because of power failure). but if your style of burning is "cut and paste" or by using "move to", then sorry mate, i think you have to use a recovery software to recover your lost photos. email me in private and ill give you a software.

You need to download Easy Recovery , or some type of disk recovery app, Unfortunetly there are no free ones out there,

The files on your hard drive even when deleted manually are still in the disk even if you format a zillion times,,

Before you buy any software, I would try an external HD enclosure and connect the HD to another PC. That works a lot better than a lot of those software recovery programs.
