I am having some CD-RW problems that I had never had before...i'm not sure if it is my burner or computer. I formated a Imation CD-RW, put some files on it using the drag-and-drop method in My Computer. The next day, I added some more files, took the disc out to see if everything was working right, but instead of seing my files, I saw some InCD files. The disc title was changed to InCD. I used Nero InCD4 to format it. I don't know what is happening. I have real important files on it...CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP?!?!

Are you positive it is the same disk? I have never drag and dropped files onto a CD-RW. I have to try that sometime.

The last time you saw them, were ALL of the files there?

I've never used the drag and drop either.

I recommend to never format your CD's, it is unnecessary. Just use a program like Nero Burning ROM or Roxio. You could also use the built-in cd burning capabilities of XP.

yes...it is the same disc, and yes...the last time I saw them they were ALL there. I would rather do multisession CD-RW, but I can't figure out how to do that in Nero Express.

I have Nero Express 6, I've never used it but try this and see if it works.

1. Start Nero Express
2. Select Data then Data Disk
3. Click on Add
4. Add your files
5. Click Finished
6. Click Next
7. Pick your burner and title the CD
8. Make sure that "Allow files to be added later(multisession disk)" is checked
9. Click burn

That should do it.

I did that before I used InCD, but I could not figure out how to add more files to the multisession disk.
