Maxtor 120G Hard Drive on Mac OSX using USB question

I am using a Maxtor 120g external hard drive connected through USB and running Mac OSX. The drive works great but it has identified itself as NO_NAME on the desktop. I have tried to manually change the name by going to the Get Info tab but it does not let me. Does anyone have any ideas how to change name that appears.
