Hello everybody,

I recently upgraded my RAM from poor 256 to 512 MB. I had the video settings in my BIOS as 64 mb alloted to graphics frame and 8 mb for the buffer when I had 256. Now can I increase any of these and how these should be kept to get the good performance when I have no graphics card installed yet?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Im guessing your using a laptop with shared graphics. I have 512 allocated to my computer and 128 allocated to the onboard graphics. But until you give me a bit more info I cant really help you.

Sorry for not being clear enough.
I am talking about my desktop of Intel motherboard(865GVHZ) and there is nothing more than that onboard graphics and the total physical memory is 512 mb only.

Thank you.

And for the buffer size? Should I get better performance as I increase it?

Thanks. That is written ithe bios too but I need to know how much should I increase. Still thanks for the help and I am probably guessing it right. Can it be 16mb for a total of 512 of system memory?
