I have an old Dell Optiplex GX1 from my mom's office. I have no idea what the specs are, except its running Windows XP Pro with a 533mhz P3 Processor. Ive put SuSE Linux on it before, but I decided to stick with winxp. When I was formatting the hard drive, I noticed it was split into three partitions.

How do I merge partitons?

I was searching online and I got answers telling me to use Partition Magic. Right now I don't have the budget to buy that...considering I'm only 13. I've got enough money to buy it, but I'm trying to save some money.

How do I merge partitions without Partition Magic?

The best utility IMO for managing disks is Partition Magic.

U're using WinXP? Right? Go to control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Managment and choose Disk Management. There u can merge ur partitions (only the partitions that are not using ur system).
