By the end of 2006 the general public in the UK should have access to a mobile phone (Cell Phone) which will have access to Live television.

BBC Technology

This is certainly an interesting venture and one that is long overdue. Imagine what it would be like sitting on the train or the bus and still managing to catch the television? The time would pass alot quicker than usual.

nokia came out with a "single chip" design phone which essentially was powerful enough to handle all the phones processing needs including television, and music. This increased battery efficiency and improved featrures. I also read that [some company] had come up with a audio processing chip that did hd [i tihnk, it may have just been another single chip solution] and was going to implement them by 2k7
read it!
